1990-1991
Scott D. Foeller received his undergraduate degree and Master’s Degree
from Stetson University in 1990 and 1991, respectively.

1993-1994
He completed his law school curriculum at Stetson University College of Law in just two years,
graduating in 1993 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in the spring of 1994.
1994-1998
Before joining what was then known as Kass Hodges, P.A. in 1998, Mr. Foeller was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis where he worked as an Examiner in the area of regulatory enforcement, asset quality review, and supervision of banks and bank holding companies to ensure the ongoing safety and soundness of the institutions. Since transitioning to practicing in Florida, Mr. Foeller’s practice is concentrated in the area of creditors’ rights and collections throughout the state of Florida. With a family background in the automobile industry, Mr. Foeller quickly became known for handling replevin actions to regain possession of collateral, and also for pursuing deficiency balances once the collateral is liquidated. He also became the memeber of Sarasota County Bar Association.
1998-2004
After joining the Firm in 1998, Mr. Foeller became a partner with the Firm in 2004. Mr. Foeller has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1994 and the Sarasota County Bar Association since 1998. He has served as the Chair for the County Civil Section of the Sarasota County Bar Association for two terms and has co-hosted several legal clinics as part of public outreach programs.
2004-Present
Currently, Mr. Foeller serves on the 12th Judicial Circuit Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee
and periodically conducts other conferences in the area of creditors’ rights and general contract and business law.
2014-2017
From 2002 through 2007 I was a participant in several small claims discussion panels for the Public Interest in Law annual series sponsored by the Sarasota Bar.
